Skin Deep - As Seen Online

You know you need it, but what is SPF, anyway?

Well, SPF means Sun Protection Factor, and this is how it works: Take the time you would normally burn in the sun without protection (let’s say 20 minutes for someone with really fair skin.) Multiply the number of minutes by the SPF factor of your product. Example: SPF factor of 15 X 20 minutes of sun exposure = 300 minutes, or 5 hours of sun protection without sunburn. Viola!

Apply sunscreen 15-30 minutes before you go out in the sun and again after swimming, sweating, or toweling off, and you’re good to go! Scroll down for a few of FashionClub’s fave sun potions.
