Tell us a little about yourself: I'm a happy, upbeat, kind person. I love helping others. From homework to fashion, I’m always doing something to help people!
How did you get involved in Fashion Club at your high school?
When I first realized I wanted to pursue a career in fashion, I researched FIDM and discovered the Fashion Club Program. I asked one of our teachers, Ms. G, if she would be interested in being our club advisor, and she said she'd love to help. So, the Bensalem High School FIDM Fashion Club was born.
What do you love about your Fashion Club? I love how close everyone is. We are always joking and laughing and creating memories at our meetings. There is never a dull moment!
What kinds of activities do you do? At my club's meetings we have guest speakers and we do a lot of activities that involve using everyday objects to make creative pieces. On December 7th, my club took a trip to New York City to explore careers in the fashion industry.
What’s a fashion trend you’re loving right now? I'm really loving the sparkle trend right now. It's great with all the muted colors for winter; the glittery effect really livens clothes up!
What's your favorite thing in your wardrobe? My favorite thing in my wardrobe would have to be my black dress. I can dress it up or dress it down. Plus, it always looks adorable!
Who is your style icon? Jackie Kennedy is a big style icon for me. No matter what she wore, she radiated pure elegance and simplicity. She always looked dressed to impress, and accessorized beautifully.
What fashion websites do you love? I love Business of Fashion. They are always on top of current trends, and they have fashion images that give me styling ideas.
Do you have plans to attend FIDM? Oh, yes! FIDM is my top
college choice!
What are your career goals? I would love to be the editor of a fashion magazine. I love all the creative ideas that I get from magazines, so it would be nice to be able to help people like myself when I'm older.
